Located in Zhongzheng District, Taipei City, this project utilizes the BFi53CVD constant-voltage dimming controllercombined with Bluetooth energy-harvesting switches, forming an energy-efficient and low-maintenance smart lighting system.

The system is built on a Bluetooth Mesh / NLC smart lighting platform, powered by a Bluetooth SIG-certified Nordic nRF5340 + FEM module, achieving over 100 meters line-of-sight range and full vertical integration from edge to endpoint.

Problems Solved

  •  Bluetooth Mesh with self-powered switches eliminates control wiring and batteries, reducing installation time and maintenance cost.


  • All configurations follow a decentralized design, stored locally on devices to ensure stability without cloud dependence.


  • Energy monitoring and sensor integration enable constant lighting control and automated energy-saving schedules.


  • The platform adapts to various interior scenarios, balancing functionality and design aesthetics.

Key Features

  • Following the Bluetooth NLC standard, the BANFi ONE iOS App enables intuitive device grouping, scene setup, and sensor interaction.


  • Powered by EnOcean self-powered technology, the BFi51WSX offers battery-free and wire-free control, reducing maintenance cost while enhancing aesthetics.


  • Complies with Bluetooth NLC Lighting and Energy Monitoring Profiles for precise constant-voltage dimming control.


  • Integrates PIR motion detection and lux sensing for automated on/off and constant illumination control.

Used battery-free switches together with the BFi53CVD constant-voltage dimming controller in the living room to achieve multi-circuit lighting control.

A single battery-free switch combined with the BFi53CVD constant-voltage dimming controller enables scene-based control of both kitchen and bathroom lighting.

The bathroom mirror lighting integrates the BFi53CVD constant-voltage dimming controller, allowing adjustable color temperature between warm and cool tones to provide optimal lighting for makeup and daily use.

The master bedroom lighting utilizes the same combination of battery-free switches and the BFi53CVD constant-voltage dimming controller, enabling centralized and scene-based lighting control across all household zones.
